Swiss Implenia Won the the Municipal Engineering Orders of British & Norway Submarine Cable Project

Swiss’ biggest public engineering company Implenia has won $23 million francs (RMB 154 million) orders to supply tunnel and municipal engineering services for the world's longest power submarine cable system.

According to introducing the total length of the submarine cable is 730 kilometers which breaks the record of the 580 kilometers world’s current longest submarine cable connecting Norway and Netherlands. And it will link Kvilldal next to a port city Stavanger in Norway and Bryce, British. It was reported that its capacity of transmission power could get to 1400 megawatts and achieve more than 12 TWH export per year.

As planned the submarine power cable system will be put into operation in 2021.
